You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country, to book or use our services. By making a booking with Rigje Tours & Travels, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Rigje Tours & Travels is a licensed tour operator based in Thimphu, Bhutan. The company operates under License No. 50000941, issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Bhutan. We are committed to providing authentic, reliable, and high-quality travel services across Bhutan while following all national tourism regulations and standards.
All bookings must be made through our official website, email, or authorized representatives. A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your reservation. Prices are quoted in BTN/USD unless otherwise stated.
Full payment must be completed prior to the commencement of your tour. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your booking.
All international tourists visiting Bhutan must comply with the country’s tourism regulations, including visa processing and payment of the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF), where applicable.
Rigje Tours & Travels will assist with visa arrangements; however, approval is subject to Bhutanese government authorities.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation and any non-refundable costs already incurred by Rigje Tours & Travels.
If cancellation is made more than 30 days before the travel date, a full or partial refund may be issued after deducting any processing or administrative fees. For cancellations made between 15 to 30 days before the travel date, only a partial refund may be provided depending on bookings already secured.
Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the travel date are generally non-refundable due to confirmed reservations and operational commitments. Refund processing times may vary depending on banking procedures and service providers.
Rigje Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be made in the best interest of the client’s safety and experience.
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, and personal belongings. Rigje Tours & Travels is not responsible for any losses not covered by insurance.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.
While we prioritize safety, travel in mountainous regions may involve certain risks.
Rigje Tours & Travels acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service suppliers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party providers or events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
Travelers are expected to respect local customs, traditions, and laws of Bhutan. Any behavior that is deemed inappropriate or harmful may result in termination of services without refund.
All content on our website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Rigje Tours & Travels and may not be copied or used without permission.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected will be used solely for booking and communication purposes.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Rigje Tours & Travels reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
